Join the innovators shaping the future of observability for a half-day of in‑depth learning, collaboration, and inspiration. At the Dynatrace Public Sector Summit, we’ll explore what’s now, what’s next, and how to thrive in the agentic AI era with secure, automated, and mission‑driven digital modernization.
Mission Ready AI: Observability Wherever the Mission Runs
Agencies are moving toward AI-driven and autonomous operations. You can’t trust an autonomous system you can’t observe. In this session, Willie Hicks, Dynatrace Global Field CTO for Government and Public Sector, traces his 15 years at Dynatrace in the US public sector. It started with on-premises deployments inside the mission boundary. Then came the cloud. Now comes AI. He shares where the platform is headed next: FedRAMP High progress, deployment and operation at every classification level, and AI observability from pipeline to model to mission.

Supporting and Scaling AI Workloads with OpenShift AI
Enterprise platform engineering teams face a growing dilemma: managing separate infrastructure stacks for traditional virtualized applications, containerized microservices, and GPU-intensive AI/ML models. Red Hat OpenShift solves this multi-platform sprawl by acting as a single, hybrid cloud foundation capable of running all three natively side-by-side. This session provides a high-level overview of how OpenShift Virtualization allows organizations to run VMs alongside cloud-native containers, while simultaneously leveraging OpenShift AI to support and scale AI workloads. We will highlight key strategic benefits, including operational consolidation, flexible modernization paths, and unified platform governance. Attendees will gain a clear executive-level understanding of how bringing VMs, containers, and AI onto a single platform simplifies overall IT architecture and accelerates organizational innovation.

Workshop Sessions
1:00-2:30 pm - The Incident Command Center - Escape Room Edition
This workshop is aimed to test your existing knowledge of the Dynatrace platform and to provide further training on key capabilities to support your agency.
During this team-based activity, you will solve specific problems in the Dynatrace platform related to:
- Work through a problem card to the root cause and a remediation scenario.
- Use real-user monitoring and synthetics to determine application and operational optimization for customer experience.
- Use AppSec to detect vulnerabilities and attacks along with a path to remediate via automated patching.
Don't miss the chance to get hands-on practice in a dedicated Dynatrace demo environment designed around your agency's specific use cases.
